Exhibits, Shows and Displays

Why would people be against plasticized corpse exhibits?

Plasticize corpse, are those donated body organs preserved to use in an art exhibit. What are the CON about ? Besides, that they used stolen body parts for the museum? if have any link about this, please send me. Thank you!

  1. It is probably a fear of not respecting the "subject / victim's" religious burial rights. the exhibits are great and i would recommend it to anyone though.
  2. Some people might argue that life deserves more respect than to be turned into plastic and put on display like an object. They might argue that people already have so little respect for themselves, each other, and other forms of life, and it will only make things worse to literally turn people into plastic toys.
  3. http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=4291334&page=1 http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=4296982&page=1some people were excuted for it since they were prisoners and they didn't have choice. I saw it on 20/20 and the people who are doing are making a fortune!!! I didn't go when they came in town. They also import the bodies from over seas and claim it's for "medical" reasons so they don't pay taxes and such. The exhibits are expensive and they also have stocks because they are doing so well. Read the page and judge for yourself.
  4. I find them creepy. I don't enjoy walking into the library at school and seeing a giant cardboard sign with a picture of a skinless corpse advertising the exhibit. They bother me. This is purely my aesthetic opinion. I'm not going to try to tell people not to have them though. If that's what donors want done with their remains and other people find it interesting to go look at them... eh whatever. Just count me out.
