Why is it that the Bush administration exhibits a trenchant?

animosity toward anything even remotely associated with evolution, that this administration condones environmental practices that alter the genetic make-up of feed animals, which thereby cause evolution in a different way, yet its adherents deny evolution?

  1. It sure as hell is not rational thinking, as that is not one of the strong suits the Village Idiot from Crawford has. First and foremost is all the pandering the right wingers have done in regards to the religious right. And don't believe for a moment that "the shrub" cares about the religious bunch, only their votes. Of course that is only part of the picture. Large industry like Monsanto who reap outrageous profits from GM crops are why there is nothing wrong in the tiny minds of president numb nuts and his gang with altering something that "doesn't" exist. LINK TV did a real good report on GM foods sold to poor developing countries who are paying a high price for those advancements. GM seeds who yield only one crop so the farmers have to buy seed every year and it's killing them. Pesticide and fertilizers required are another problem. I for one am more concerned with GM foods than I am with Chinese sea food. Anything these incompetent fools at 1600 Sesame Street in Washington DC have done that pertains to our environment has been a total failure based on nothing but lies sold to the American public by special interest lackeys. You can contact the White House at 202-456-1414 for the switch board or go to 202-456-1111 and talk directly to the complaint department.
  2. The administration's base is the Christian Conservatives, and they chose not to support evolution over the biblical accounts regarding creationist theories.
