What color exhibits the largest absorbtion of solar energy?

Just checking. The answer is loden green. A green approaching black. Shouldn't be surprising when you consider plants and trees... Hmmmm. Maybe there is a relationship between nature and science...

3. well - technically BLACK isnt a color.. it is the ABSENCE of color... so any really DARK color would be the correct answer.. but BLACK certainly does absorb alot of energy -
