How many shows a week can children between the ages of five and 18 can they do?

How many shows can they do? How long can the shows be? If they understudy in a show does it count as a show in their maximum allowance?

1. I have been a circus and sideshow performer for 20+ years. Out of all that time I have never seen any limitations on child circus performers. Since the theater is a permanent building, there probably are laws pertaining to your questions. Contact the Dept. Of Child Services and I'm sure they can give you the legal guidelines.
2. I know that in London , the Von Trapp children do two shows a week and the Gretl's do less.

What kind of shows are you talking about cuz for tv shows they work: Child's Age-Typical Daily Time Restrictions 15 days to 6 months-2 hour maximum; no work session may last longer than 20 min 6months to 2 years- 4 hour maximum with 2 hours devoted to rest 2 to 6 years- 6 hour maximum with 3 hours devoted to rest an school 6 to 9 years- 8 hour maximum with 3 hours devoted to school and 1 hour to rest 9 to 16 years- 9 hour maximum with 3 hours devoted to school and 1 to rest 16 to 18 years- 10 hour maximum with 3 hours devoted to school and 1 hour devoted to rest
