how much weight can a 75 gallon aquarium stand hold?

it's a wooden or i think oak stand

1. a gallon of water weighs about 8.33 pounds.. multiply that by 75.. 75 gallon stand could easily hold around 625 pounds.

3. make sure you have a flat surface the tank sit on and have a foam base between the glass and stand... 75 gallon is about 283.90 kgs and about 283.90 litres(aus) 499.60 pints(uk)
4. Since 75 stands, and 90 stands are the same exact product... At least 1100 lbs.
5. Water itself weighs a little over 8 pounds per gallon, so with water, gravel, and the weight of the tank, a 75 gallon tank might approach 800 lbs or so. Also some of us have large amounts of rock in there tank and rock is denser than water, so 1000 pounds would be no problem.
6. 625 pounds!
