- EDIT EDIT EDIT it may be around a 20 gallon, this is a reference i found on ebay so that is an idea with the size: http://cgi.ebay.com/20-Gallon-Aquarium-Fish-Tank-w-Pine-Stand-Filter_W0QQitemZ180137884119QQihZ008QQcategoryZ20755QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
- you can't figure out gallons without height...sorry
- depends on the height of the aquarium as to the gallons- find an aquarium that has those deminsions and go from there.
- I would say it is about a 20-25 gal.
- 15 gallons.
- 24.5 x 10.5 x 12. = 3087 cu.inches./1.78 cu.ft. 3 087 (cu. in) = 13.3636363 US gallons
- http://www.malawimayhem.com/calculate.php This site can help you. Since you don't actually have the tank yet, 24" long tanks come in several different sizes. The 15L and the 20H are what usually goes on that stand.
- The size is a little odd - if it was 24 x 11.5 that would be either a 15 gallon, or a 20 gallon standard (as opposed to a 20 long). Double check the dimensions, and look at the dimensions of these tanks when you go to buy.
- Good question. But that's a weird size. A standard 10 gallon tank is 20" x 10" x 12", a standard 20 gallon tank is 24" x 12" x 16". That's not a standard stand. You also need to know how much weight it can safely hold. It would probably be best to ask the person you got it from if you can do so. Unless you typed part of this wrong?
- It's either a 15 or 20 gallon aquarium. The aquarium has to be 24 X 10, but the height can be anything. ~ZTM
- the size tank you can use is a 20 gallon
- A ten gallon, fifteen high, or twenty extra high are the only standard tanks that will fit on that stand. Every other standard tank is at least 12" front to back.
