Is the female Speaker of the House giving women in America something to be proud of?

White men dominate in business, politics, etc. Women and minorities all too often have equal or better qualities in performing such duties, but in your eyes is Nancy Pelosi doing a stand-up job as America's first Speaker of The House? Has she made a step forward for women or made people think this kind of job isn't for women? (Hopefully, in my opinion, it's just her that's terrible - not all other women.) What do you think?

Public Comments

  1. it's just her.
  2. I think Nancy and Hillary are both pathetic. Then to hear Gloria Steinem's words were horrific. Those three nut jobs are setting the movement back 100 years.
  3. I agree, Pelosi is not the right woman.
  4. I am a woman and I am not proud of her. Her most recent stunt is as Unamerican as many CLAIM Obama to be! Maybe if he receive the nomination, he should have her as his VP running mate! She and other women like her are the ones that give idiots the reason to think that women should not be in positions of power.
  5. She's awful I agree, but it's just her. If you want to be equal stand up and be equal don't worry about this minority woman crap, just get out there and do it. And just like there are white men who are horrible at their jobs there will be women, African Americans, Hispanics and others that are bad too, but they don't represent everyone in that minority, nor does someone who does well.
  6. She's a total disappointment, but then again the dems and the cons are just playing good cop, bad cop with us, all the while serving the same master: AIPAC. We must change our election system to ensure that public servants serve the Americna people rather than powerful lobbies including this foreign lobby. We need to do what's best for the United States for a change, not what's best for the people who get our officials elected.
