What is the best way to build a cheap and modern aquarium stand?

I have been searching all over the place and just can't find something that I like. I don't like the cheap looking wooden stands. The nice ones at furniture stores just won't hold the weight. Please advise....

1. The first link is for a site that you pay $12.97 for a set of plans for a specific size aquarium. The second and third has the plan directly on the site, but it is only for one size. You would have to modify it to fit your particular size aquarium.
