What do companies such as Apple usually do with these displays once they replace them with new displays for more current products? They would have no more use for them. Are they thrown away or sold? My iPod displays the Apple logo when I play a certain song? My 2 GB Nano (2nd gen.) is working fine, except when I go to play one certain song the screen only displays black with the Apple logo and seems to freeze...any ideas as to why? I think for example...it would be a lot more traumatizing (now talking about psychological tolls), if a kid in a park sees santa clause making out with a guy in a bikini....I think the kid would have a harder time with that one than say...just simply seeing a guy naked. Or seeing a girl and a man making out (naturally). Furthermore, since most people are heteros, it makes sense that a larger percentage of people would be uncomfortable with public displays of homosexuality ....than with a hetero display. and if you support public displays of homosexuality....why do you not support public nudity? They make people uncomfortable in similar ways. But obvcourse, your for human rights, yet you support homosexual displays but not nudity...out of your fear of not being labeled a homophobe... if you stand for human rights only when its convenient, then you don't stand for anything. I need help setting up 2 displays on my pc, using an ATI Radeon Catylst controller!? When i go into the advanced settings, and then displays manager, and i click on the secondary display, it says the display is currently disabled. would you like to enable it. well when i click enable it does nothing. i want to set it up so i can extend my desktop across both displays. The secondary display does work, if i go into basic settings, however i can only switch between the displays, i can't use both at the same time! Any advice please?

My Samsung SGH-X480 mobile phone displays old text messages when a new message is received. Anyone knows why? This is a big problem.. When a new text message is received and when i open it, the phone displays an old message received by the same person or a different person.. My webpage displays the code instead of the content? I have been experimenting with javascript and have written a simple script in word and saved it as an HTML file. When I try to get the browser to display the webpage it just displays the code instead of the content. The page info says it is saved as text/html, but it still refuses to display, regardless of the browser used. Any help would be appreciated

Why is this not displaying correctly in IE? It displays correctly in Firefox? I have written a quick page up in HTML styled with CSS to illustrate the layout of a website for a friend. However, this although the page displays correctly in Firefox, there are a couple of issues when displaying in IE. For some odd reason, although the div classes of each element to the left are virtually the same as those on the right, the ones on the right are the only ones displaying the correct image padding and margins. Also, the text in each element shows a line gap between the third and fourth line of text which should not be there, and indeed isn't there when this page is loaded in Firefox. Sorry for my poor explanation of this problem, but if you view the page in both Firefox and IE, you'll see my problems in IE. http://djned12.webng.com/ I am indeed using IE 7. I have no idea why it's happening, I would first have assumed it was some display settings in IE that are incorrect, but then that shouldn't matter anyway if the classes are pretty much exactly the same... Ok, updated the CSS page with my current offline version. Also made a couple of changes to margins to make it look slightly better. Text message tooltip in Messenger displays private phone #? My friend I chat with on Messenger keeps her mobile # private. I noticed while we were chatting that if I hover my mouse over the SEND TEXT MESSAGE icon right next to the DISPLAY ICON then a tooltip pops up saying "Send a text message to xxx-xxx-xxxx" where instead of xxx's it actually displays her private phone number. I told her about it showing her phone # and she was shocked.... She has gone into her profile and account settings and there is no phone number listed for her in either of them. We can't locate any way to disable this display of her phone #. She does not recall ever giving her phone # to Yahoo. Does anyone know how to disable the phone number display in this tooltip?

my yahoo page displays blank? I using two computers, both with Internet Explorer. On one computer, my.yahoo page displays fine. The other computer displays a blank page after logging in to my.yahoo. But it is hard when teacher see and they yell infront of everyone "SEPARATE!" and things like that. But with boyfriends and girlfriends, they kiss and hug all the time in school. Like today, we were outside of the school right in front of a teacher and my boyfriend was relaxing on the ground. So my bus starts coming and I said, I have to go, do you want a hug? Then stand up. He wouldnt, so I said "No hugs for Brandon!" And went to walk away and he yelled "No babe! I love you!" I walked over, leaned down, said "I love you too!" I enjoy holding and kissing my partner and feel perfectly comfortable doing these things in public - What I don't understand is other peoples' reactions to seeing couples doing this. Is there a law against public displays containing pictures involving nudity, racial mutilation, violence ect? A group in my school likes to put up public displays depicting human mutilation, nudity, infant corpses, racial persecution including families of African American slaves strung from gallows and piles of burning Jewish bodies from WW2. I don't enjoy these graphic images so I try to stay indoors during their week of display and I don't eat in the public eating areas that they are situated outside of. However, there is a daycare for kinds in the ages of ~1-4 not 30 meters away who routinely travel about campus either with their daycare attendants or their parents who take them to eat at the building where these images are situated (it's our central campus area). This group has been asked to turn their display's inward or move to another location on campus but they say it violates their right to free speech. Is there not a law that prevents the public display of a graphic nature from being in forcible contact with children? You think they could rate it 14A or something.
