No where on the tickets does it say "tickets are not for resale" It only says, no exchanges or refunds. I had put the ads in an online classifeds, and was contacted by the box office supervisor saying for me to stop selling the tickets, because they know i got them for free. How can I get a coupon book or free tickets to shows and other events in Las Vegas? We will arrive in Las Vegas on Saturday. We really don't have an agenda, but we have an idea of what we want to do. We are not gamblers, so there will be a very minimal amount of money put into the slot machines. We know we want to try some restaurants and sight-see. We are going to do one of the Lake Mead tours. We are going to see a show or two. But my husband read somewhere on the internet that you can get free tickets to shows and events in Las Vegas. He saw something that said if you go listen to one of those time-share meetings, you will get free tickets. Is there a way I can contact these places in advance? Any insight you may have would be greatly appreciated!
Where can you get free buffets, tickets, etc. in Las Vegas? Taking the Family to Vegas in a few weeks and I have heard about websites that will send you coupons and vouchers for shows, dinners and even rooms. Are there such sites? have looked but have no luck.
How can I get free stuff in Las Vegas? I am trying to make a cheap trip to Las Vegas and I would like to know how I can get free stuff, such as complimentary nights at a hotel, free show tickets or anything else that you may know of. Thanks Ps. It doesn't have to be free, but discounted at least.
Free Las Vegas???? We heard about a free trip to Las Vegas on the radio. It is through Consolidated Resorts Inc. They give you 3 days, 2 nights and other free stuff (tickets to shows etc.). They are asking for $9.95 shipping. Is this real? Has anyone done this? Should we look out for anything? We called the hotel/casino and they said they were working with this company. So, it does sound legit. But if it is a timeshare thing where you have to sit through a presentation, is it worth it? Can anyone give some advice?
Vegas for free? A friend said I can get a long weekend free in Las Vegas.? A friend said, for the time it takes me to go to a Time Share seminar, I can get several nights free in Vegas, plus possibly show tickets and discounts. Is that true?
Does anyone know any good websites or companies I can call to get free stuff in Las Vegas? Like show tickets, gift cards or meals. I leave on Sunday, thanks.
Has anyone done the Tahiti Village complimentary stay in Las Vegas? My husband secured a few free nights in Vegas when we attend a timeshare presentation. We're not interested in purchasing, but would just like a free hotel room. We have no problem telling pushy salespeople "We're not interested" and were just wondering if anyone has any details they can share! What kind of hotel do they put you in, what kind of free show tickets do you get etc. Thanks!

Going to Las Vegas Looking for discounts? Im going to las vegas with friends. We are wondering where we can find things to get for free or discounted. Like where to get discounted tickets for shows and what are the best shows that are not a lot of money.
Which hotel in Las vegas should I book tomorrow? Ok so my husband is taking me to Las vegas for my birthday in December (never been before) he is letting me plan everything. I am booking everything tomorrow and need help deciding on which hotel to book. Mirage or Treasure island? They are both around the same price even with the plane tickets... I'm going to list pros and cons... Mirage Pros: bigger rooms, get free bottles of water sent to room every day, get 2 free robes (it is a christmas deal I guess) 2 free tickets to their siegfried and roy's secret garden and dolphin habitat (I love dolphins plus they have very rare big cats in their garden) Newly renovated rooms, they have a gift shop type thing that if you order a day or two early (we will be there 3 days before my birthday then leaving the day after) they send up birthday balloons, champain, cake, (basically a lot of cool stuff). Cons: Doesn't have the nightclub I really want to go to in it, the night club would cost 50 dollars for both me and my husband, doesn't have one of the shows we are going to in it. Other info: has a 15 dollar a day resort fee TI Pros: Has the nightclub in it that I want to go to, it is free for guests, has the show we are seeing in it, has vip seats for the sirens show on the boat (just means you can be in the front or be able to see it well), the mall is practically next door. Cons: Not as much free, doesn't say anything about bringing things to the room besides food for room service, the rooms are smaller, not newly renovated. Other: they charge a 20 dollar a day resort fee Both hotels are right next to each other and connected by a tunnel or something (not sure what it is called). which one would you stay at? Which one do you think is better for us? to the one person that said the thing about the robes... they do say free to take home with you and to pick them up in the gift shop... https://reservations.mgmmirage.com/bookingengine.aspx?pid=160&host=promo&code=holiday09 here is the site that says it...
HELP! I've got 2 free plane tickets and want to plan a vacation, tropical and inexpensive, where would you go? THIS IS A BIT LONG< READ ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE TIME TO HELP ME DECIDE: THANKS! First of all I don't want to sound like I am complaining here, just confused on where to go. I realize I am very lucky to have the tickets! The plane tickets are for anywhere in the U.S. plus Cancun, Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Aruba. Most of these places outside the U.S. would be too expensive though in terms of hotel and food for me right now for two people, so where else in the mainland U.S. could I visit that is somewhat near a nice beach, maybe some shells, and isn't too expensive for a hotel there and food? I only have about an extra 1,000 for a 3 day trip somewhere for the hotel and food and spending. All I want to do is spend some quality time with my husband and sit and watch the waves, drink a tropical drink at a tiki hut, swim in a huge pool and possibly take a boat out to a little island to find some shells. (Otherwise I also have free hotel rooms at any Harrah's hotel in the U.S. so I guess they have Harrah's in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, New Orleans, Phoenix, and other places more inland in the U.S. That would be very cheap then since I would then have free air and hotel, but none of those places is really that tropical!) I could also choose to fly to New Orleans or Miami and try a 4 day cruise. Upside of that: fairly cheap and could see Key West AND Mexico ! And lots of food all included in the price Downside: I've never been on a cruise , sometimes there are hidden costs to consider, tipping, extra excursion, etc. and I wouldn't get into the pool with tons of people, no privacy, and could seem like I'm stuck on a boat with a bunch of drunks since I heard the 4 days cruises are "party cruises". Again see I'm totally stuck on what to do and where to go with these tickets! Anyway if I don't do the Harrah's free hotel thing or the cruise then, I was thinking possibly Pensacola, Florida since it is supposed to be cheaper and they still offer the touristy things to do there, but not sure if that might be too boring. Do you have other ideas that could work? I wouldn't mind using the free tickets to California but then the hotel prices are just too high. And Virginia Beach is supposed to be nice but I'm not sure if it is expensive to visit and I know it won't be as tropical as Florida or Cancun of course since there will doubtfully be tiki huts and tropical drinks/ not sure though? Also lots and lots of people say go to Cancun but I worry about a few things: crime to and from the hotels, crime at the hotels, crime going to dinner in the cities and I'd hate to see children begging on the beach on my vacation or stray dogs starving to death running down the beaches. If you've gone there, is that what you've encountered ever? Some previous yahoo people said that was what it was like, not fun for a vacation then. Someone recommended a place calledCancun Palace (p.s. my research shows: Le Blanc in Cancun looks amazing if you have more money than me for the trip!), someone else said Myrtle Beach, others Key West? Has anyone been to Key West lately, do you have any quiet beaches or are they all packed with crazy tourists? If I can't come up with a trip that my husband would also like, then he said I should just use one of the tickets to fly to my niece's wedding in Minneapolis and wait for the other ticket for something else ....BORING use of the 2 tickets I say, and then I might never go on the somewhat more "romantic" and "relaxing" trip with my husband. I think I'd rather just pay for the wedding ticket for myself separately.Sooooo ...... if you could go anywhere, where would you fly for a fairly inexpensive vacation with my 2 free tickets? I'm totally stumped on what to do and where to go! Thanks for any input! TRVLLADY- THANKS, my husband just said the same thing, make a list to help decide....so your advice was right on target since I am stuck. And I will look into Virginia Beach more extensively then as well!
Is it possible to Break Las Vegas ? I came out to Las Vegas from Los Angeles on a shoe string budget of $20000 . I had no job lined up, I rented a room in a house for $600 per month. I have an old car thats hitting 100000 miles and the clothes on my back. Basically to make a long story short, in 5 trips to the different casinos on the strip, Ive managed to come up $8000 pure profit including show tickets, 4 compt dinners at the Bellagio, Ceasars, MGM, and The Mirage. I also got compt a junior suite at the Ballegio that was going for $489 per night for FREE. I am counting cards and its working just like I had practiced for the last 2 years with the +1 and -1 system and its been working like a charm. I feel like Mr. Las Vegas and Im ready to bring the house down. Im having dreams of making millions and become the next blackjack mastermind of the new milleniium. Ive actually been treated with alot of respect from the pit bosses, the shift managers, the dealers, and have been offered alot of extras. Is this talent or luck ?
What's the RECOUPMENT PERIOD for an $8 billion Maglev train from Las Vegas to Disneyland? Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid successfully got an $8 billion MagLev high speed train project (from Las Vegas to Disneyland) into the $787 billion Stimulus Bill that just passed. Reid of course is from Nevada. No pork or earmarks in this bill, right? I'm trying to do the financial analysis on this "investment" project to get a sense of how stimulative it supposedly might be. Your help is appreciated. Yahoo Maps shows 271 miles from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. A train might travel in more of a straight line (how many houses disrupted? Another good question...), but as an approximation, we can use 271 miles. So at $8 billion, that's about $29.5 million per mile. Disneyland tickets for 1 day sell for $84 for kids ages 3 to 9 and $94 for ages 10 and over, or let's say $89 on average. So the $8 billion equates to about 89.9 million Disneyland tickets. If open 365 days, that's 246,000 tickets a day, but the park doesn't hold that many. One source shows daily attendance by time of year going from a low of about 11,000 to a high of 70,000. See: http://www.scottware.com.au/theme/feature/atend.htm So I'm assuming park capacity at 70,000 and just by eyeballing that graph comparing the red areas of attendance to the white areas of capacity, I'm guestimating the park is about 50% full on average with excess capacity of 50% or 35,000 tickets per day. This is what the MagLev train could try to fill. So if you've got 89.9 million tickets at $89 on average for each in order to recoup the $8 billion MagLev train investment, with excess daily capacity at 35,000 tickets, it would take 2568 days or 7 years to achieve recoupment on the investment. But that of course would be just to Disney as if Disney invested the $8 billion itself, and it won't be. American taxpayers will be footing the bill. Because this train is so heavily going to favor Disneyland (et. al.) as well as whatever Las Vegas casinos, hotels, restaurants, etc., that will be in the vicinity of the MagLev station, I say the AMERICAN PEOPLE should be issued shares of stock in those companies and establishments since we are footing the CAPITAL INVESTMENT to support those businesses. Or the least these guys can do is issue a free Disneyland ticket to every taxpayer who pays their taxes on time. Jeez Louise! As it stands, this is the crummiest "vacation package" I've ever been forced to invest in! I don't live in either Las Vegas or L.A. so I'm wondering how my paying for this $8 billion MagLev train is going to benefit me. I need to see what projects in this Stimulus Bill are scheduled for my state but my sense is there are definite "winner states" and "loser states" in this Stimulus Bill and I ask if in the mad dash to write it and get it passed, was there any conscious ANALYSIS of where the money was needed the most to create the most impact for the overall economy? Or might it have something to do with being Speaker of the House (Pelosi) or Senate Majority Leader (Reid)? No pork or earmarks in THIS bill, right Mr. Obama? NOTE: The above numbers are just an approximation and I WELCOME refined figures or other analysis which might support or not support the rationality of this investment decision. This is the domain of investment analysis so if you have a background or training in this, your feedback is especially welcome since I don't think Congress is doing any similar analysis before they vote us all into the Poor House.
Is Anyone Going To The Golf Fest Show In Las Vegas? I have access to some free tickets for those who are going. Check out my Yahoo 360 page if you are interested. http://360.yahoo.com/my_profile-_XbOgH0ieKkxs1CAzUV1wc1rlt.2;_ylt=ApOEQRJ979d0gJdIXIezqCW0AOJ3
How did Frank Sinatra "bring in the high rollers in Vegas"? Every retrospective on Las Vegas I have seen has someone talking about the importance of booking Sinatra (and other acts well) because they "brought in the high rollers." How did that work. Maybe I have seen to many movies where they are always comping tickets, but I thought those shows were free. Was it the ticket price that winnowed out the average Joe, and attracted people with money. Or did Frank Sinatra, and others have a "high roller following'?
Approximately how much should i spend on Vegas(4 days) + LA(4 days) vacation, last week of december? I stay in Chicago. anyone know of any secrets to getting comps or special deals in Las Vegas? basically ,i want to know how to get around and get all the special deals like free room, food, show tickets etc. my friend says he knows someone who gets everything and is not a real big gambler.
Anyone who has been to Las Vegas or can give me some advise? Ok so I'm getting a break for my birthday, My husband is taking me to Las Vegas and his parents are watching our son for the 4 days we are going to be there. We are going in December. Any who, I really wanted to go Treasure Island, It is well known and the nightclub I am interested in going to is free for hotel guests (it is in Treasure Island) when normally it would cost 50 dollars for me and my husband to go. One of the shows we are going to is also in our hotel. It is also conveniently in the middle of the strip and has a big mall in very short walking distance... We are booking plane tickets and the hotel next week and I was looking around at other hotels and came across New York, New york... They are about 100 dollars cheaper. But farther down the strip, we would have to pay for the nightclub we want to go to and have to get transportation to the show... But they have a few good things about them too... One of them being they will send a birthday cake up to your room for pretty cheap... which the other place doesn't do. Both hotels look awesome but because I have never been I really don't know which one is better. And for people who haven't been which one sounds better... Thanks for your advise... I want this to be a wonderful birthday because I didn't have many nice ones growing up. THe hotel is called New york, New york, it isn't in NY it is in Las Vegas...lol. And I do have to wait till next week because we wont have the whole amount of money to pay for it till next week.
Freebies in Las Vegas?? How and where do i get freebies i.e. free show tickets etc. I know you can but need advice as to how!!!
KA Cirque du Soleil @ MGM Grand Las Vegas - How good/bad are my seats? I just reserved tickets to see KA at MGM Grand on December 10th for Hubby's 30th birthday. It was part of a promotional Air + Hotel package so we were able to get the show tickets for free. The representative gave us Sec 202 Row MM Seats 17-18. She said these were a little further back from the stage but the section was in the center and the seats were center seats as well. She assured me there was really no bad seats in the theatre. I didn't have a seating chart handy so I couldn't possibly know if this was true or not. I've read online reviews that say much of the show takes place above and around the aisles of the sections. Is it stadium seating? Can anyone provide testimony on whether the seats given to me are bad/good seats? I'm willing to upgrade to get him better seats for his birthday if these turn out to be horrible seats. But then again, I can't really complain since they were free. Thanks in advance for any tips and advice! Here is a link to the stage seating chart to jog your memories: http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/cirquedusoleil/en/showstickets/ka/tickets/tickets.com
Need Las Vegas Coupons by mail? have never been to vegas. where can you eat cheap? get cheap tickets for a show? and free coupons by mail. going in May, 2009
Timeshare pitches - free gifts - are they "free"? My wife got a pitch from "Ulimate Vacations" that if we sit through their presentation, plus "free" airfare anywhere in the continental U.S., plus airfare and tickets to Las Vegas and a show. Then I did a little research on Yahoo Answers, and people were talking about how they had to pay money up front. Also, do you have to give them your credit card number ?
Best Comps in Las Vegas? I just got back from Vegas & I wanted to tell where to get the best comps. My bf & I stayed at the Tropicana, an older hotel, but great for comps. Our 1st room was in the old section, but we got upgraded because there were some bugs in the room. We were then put into the newer section and got a suite without the added cost. Despite the bad start, I loved the new CLEAN room. There's a slot machine in front of the hotel where you get a free spin & my bf won 2 free ticks to the Folies Bergere show ($70 per ticket regular price). I played $20 on the penny machine for 4 hours& earned 2 ticks to the magic show AND Folies Bergere. Besides the free show ticks, we earned 2 free buffets(not the greatest but it was free) tshirts &hats, 4 decks of cards, & free $ to use on drinks &food. At the Monte Carlo they have 2 for 1 buffet coupons, the food was amazing. At the coke bottle they have 1/2 price ticks for shows. Let me know if you know any more deals. This is what I found of 2 days there.
American Superstars at Stratosphere Las Vegas? I know it is silly, but I wanted to see this show the first time we went to Vegas and we never did. We have now been there 4 times together and still have never seen it so I kind of want to see it next week when we go. Here are my questions Are there any discounts currently going on for American Superstars at the half price ticket booths or in the magazines? Is it worth it to buy the package with dinner, drink passes, and tower passes instead of using a buy 1 get one free discount? Is the show worth seeing and who are the impersonators right now? Thanks for any info!
Is gambling for a living dangerous ? I moved out to Las Vegas at the end of July and in less than a month , Ive managed to win close to $7000 playing blackjack at about 5 different casinos on the strip. I learned how to count cards in los angeles before I came out from a professional who has been banned from 10 casinos in vegas . Actually his in the griffith book. I would spend 8 hours a day practicing and practicing. It wasnt easy but I finally learned it. I came out here with no job, $20000 in cash , my old car, and alot of fear but hope. I was suppose to look for a job and start a career at a bank but after I saw the money coming in , I just couldnt stop. Its so convenient because the casinos are open 24/7, I could set my own schedule, I am my own boss, quick profits, and tax benefits. I am using the system hes taught me and its working extremely well. I got 2 free show tickets, a junior sweet at the Bellagio, and compt dinners at Harras and Flamingo. I feel I have an advantage . Is this for real or just temporary ?
Stratosphere American Superstars Dinner Package? We want to go see American Superstars when we go to Las Vegas in August. You can get the tickets at a 2-for-1 price, but I am interested in the dinner package that includes dinner, tower pass, and a free drink at the show. How much is that? Is the dinner at Stratosphere's Courtyard Buffet? Would you be saving more buy buying the dinner packages than using the 2-for-1 coupons after all of the fees?
Is there a catch to the promotions offered if you attend a timeshare presentation? We are planning to go to Orlando in December, and recently heard that Westgate Resorts was offering seven nights at their one-bedroom condos for $199 total (including tax). My husband thinks it's too good to be true. All we have to do is attend a 90 minute presentation the day before we leave Orlando. I have already put down a $20 deposit and it is refundable within 14 days. I don't think it's a hoax, but know I am starting to second guess myself. We did a timeshare presentation in Las Vegas to get two free dinners at a buffet, as well as two show tickets. The people were very pushy but that didn't bother me because I just pushed right back and told them I wasn't interested. Have you had any experience with the timeshare presentations? Is there any fine print that I need to be aware of?
Best central USA casino freebies and comps? I live in central usa, and I was wondering besides free drinks (namely sodas or ice cream) does anyone know of any really good freebies or comps? I prefer to hear answers about freebies, etc. in my area, (Oklahoma, Missouri) vs. Las vegas since someone already asked and answered a similar question about L.V... So, does anyone know how to get free food, free coupons, and/or free theatre/stage show tickets? Any and all help is appreciated, but 10 pts awarded with a preference to the biggest and best player awards. P.s. I know some places with 10 dollar freeplay, but I'm looking for more or bigger freeplay, slot tournaments (not card tournament(s))...If you have Las Vegas info, please give more details like on how to get free night stay, etc..any thing good like worth a free flight/ night's stay etc.. Thanks!

Need help with biography! Thanks! Please Look in To!? I am doing a biography on Elvis. Its due tomorrow and it has to be atleast 5 minutes, maximum 8 minutes. I really need help finishing it! I did most of the work, please finish! needs to be true information! please help! DUE TOMORROW! If you want to add more, feel free to! THANKS! Also i forgot to tell you it needs to be in first person! Me, My I you know! Thanks! l \/ My name is Elvis Aaron Presley. I was born on January 8th, in the year of 1935. I was born a twin, but I remain a twin no longer. My twin brother, Jesse Garon, died shortly after our birth. It was said that I would do many great things… When I was eight years old, I hitchhiked to a local radio station to perform on their “Saturday Jamboree”. My original hair color was infact blond. But when I was ten, I colored it black. For my eleventh birthday, I received the most important gift of my life- a guitar. That marked the beginning of my music career. I started singing and taking my guitar to school. Playing , “Old Shep,” and many other folk songs, during lunch. My family moved to the state of Tennessee, to the city of Memphis. I was in High School around the time we moved. My father, Vernon Presley, could never keep a job, and my mother Gladys Presley, did not get paid enough to support our family. So we moved to Memphis, hoping my father would get a steady job. I graduated high school, in 1953. After graduating, I went and auditioned for Marion Keisker, at Sun Studios. The following year, I returned to Sun Studios, and recorded a sample record, with Sam Phillips listening in. On July 5th, 1954, I recorded my first single, “That’s All Right.” Then in 1955, after a show I was doing in Jacksonville, Florida, Kernel Tom Parker, came up to me and asked me if I wanted to sign a contract with him. I reluctantly agreed. In 1956, I became very popular. I made my first television appearance in January. I appeared on Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey’s “Stage Show”. Also, I performed on Ed Sullivan’s popular variety show, “Toast of the Town”. Then I made my first movie. “Love Me Tender”, came out in New York City, in November. In 1957, I spent five-hundred thousand dollars, renovating an old estate, which I recently purchased. Calling it “Graceland”, it’s area consists of 13 acres. In December, five days before Christmas, I received notice that I was drafted into the army. Kernel Tom Parker pulled some strings so I could finish filming my fourth movie, King Creole. My other movies were, Loving you, and Jailhouse Rock. After completing King Creole, I reported to Fort Chaffee, in Arkansas, on March 24th. Then in August, 1958, Gladys Presley tragically died. I was astounded and filled with grief. I immediately flew home. A few weeks after the death, I departed to Wiesbaden. Which is in Germany. That is where I met Priscilla Beaulieu. Who is the daughter of an American Air Force Captain. When I discovered that she was only in ninth grade, I was astonished. Nevertheless, I saw her day after day. Finally, I told her that I really liked her, even though I was twenty four, and she was only fourteen. In 1960, I completed my tour of duty. Leaving behind Priscilla, I left to go home to the United States. A while after I returned home, I performed on television with Frank Sinatra in May. On March 25th, 1961, I performed live in Honolulu, Hawaii, at a benefit in honor of the U.S.S. Arizona. That was my last live show performance for a while. If anyone wanted to see me perform, they would have to buy tickets. NEED MORE INFO!!!!! In 1963, I had Priscilla and her family flown to Los Angeles for a visit. The Bealieus agreed to let Priscilla stay in Memphis with me. NEED MORE INFO!!! In 1967, I signed a new contract on January 2nd, giving Kernel Parker half of my earnings. I recorded, “How Great Thou Art”, which won me my first grammy. On May 1st, In Las Vegas, I married Priscilla, who has been living in Graceland for about 5 years. We had a baby girl, named Lisa Marie, who was born on February 1, 1968. I made it back to television December 3rd with a Christmas special, that rejuvenated my career as a live performer.

I need advice I'm goin thru it........? I'm going to this great trade school in San Francisco called job corps where you learn a trade, get a diploma or a g.e.d, and a drivers lisence and a job when you get out. You get to live there in dorms for free and they pay you, and give you 3 meals a day. My room smelt like weed because 1 of my room mates smoked in the bathroom. So the staff raided the room and drug tested us the next morning. I smoke on the weekends so my test was going to come up dirty anyway. So my results come back on Monday. And I'm 99% sure I'm getting kicked out because I started the program with a dirty drug test. I was in the program for 4 months. I got expelled from the Oakland school district before I started the program and me and my dad made a deal that i got kicked out of this program then I would go to my moms house in las Vegas to get my g.e.d and then maybe come back. My plan was to go straight to the Amtrak station after I get my stuff packed from my dorm and head straight to Vegas when the program kicks me out with out telling my mom or dad and just calling my mom when I get in Vegas to pick me up from the Amtrak station. I am really depressed and ashamed of myself for messing this oppourtunity up for myself and letting my parents down when I was just doing really good. I know my dad is going to be disapointed and mad which doesn't scare me but makes me sad and ashamed of myself for putting him thru more stress then I already have. I got kicked out of every school I ever went to and I know this is just going to stress him even more and it's killing me just thinking about it. I think if I buy my own ticket and leave on my own then that will show my dad I'm taking my responsibilities in my own hands. I want to get my g.e.d then come back and go to a community college so I can do something for myself and make my parents proud. But anyways... What should I do? Does my idea sound good?

Are you ready for a real boxing match? Muhammad Ali versus Mike Tyson LIVE !! ! !! ! (Warning) very long, Note that i used ring commentators to describe what would happen if they ever fought. Read it like you're watching it. ------------------------------------------ Good evening everybody, I'm Jim Lamphly and im here with Larry Merchant and Emmanuel Stewart and we are here live in the MGM grand hotel and casino in Las Vegas Nevada, where tonight, we will see history in the making between two well known, gifted, and talented boxers to settle for the undisputed heavy title championship of the world. Well Jim, tonight is packed, more than 50,000 people and hardly any room for more, i know this will be a memorable one. What dyou think Emannuel. Oh yes, great night for boxing, great event to be in, especially after what we saw tonight with the fight between Winky Wright and Floyd Mayweather jr. Just earlier ago, Floyd Mayweather jr. and Winky Wright had fought an outstanding performance but ending with a controversal draw when judges scored the bout half and half all the same in favor of Winky and Floyd. Now we await for the two real fighters, real punchers, real boxers of the main event, that is, Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali. Keep in mind everybody, i just want to point out something Jim, that the significance of this fight will determine not only the undisputed heavy title of the world, but also the greatest heavy weight fighter of the world. That's right. This is the first time in history that we held the heavyweight title vacant and neutral so that both fighters may be considered both underdogs and heres Mike Tysons entry song. Wow, what a song, such a deep monotone sound. yup, kinda gives me that memory of the fight between Ali and Foreman when Ali was comin down with that electrofying feel to it just gives you goosebumps behind your neck. Not to mention the fight between Tyson and Michael Spinks when Tyson walked through the ring Its almost the same song yeah There he is. As we look at Tyson walking trough the ring we can see the crowd tonight with just and eerie feeling, everybody just murmuring, hardly anybody cheering. Tyson's coach Cus D'amato by his side along with Kevin Rooney arriving with a serious glance on there faces as they walk towards the corner of the ring. And we can see here Mike Tyson, no robe one, no socks, just ready and waiting for the Muhammad Ali. Yes, he has prepared phsically and mentally for this fight. I donno Larry, you think Tyson must be wearing some kind of special shoes or something cuz without socks he can have serious wounds on his soles I mean this fight is very important to him. Well, maybe he's just wearing very short socks or something. Mike on the center of the ring walking back and forth and for the benefit of our viewers, heres the tale of the tape. Mike Tyson, 22 years old in prime condition. He weighed in this evening at 221 pounds. Reach from armpit to the end of the fist is 71 inches. His height of course is 5 foot 11 inches. He is undefeated with 36 straight wins after that fight with frank bruno. He won Michael Spinks by knock out in round one. Unified his title three times by beating trevor berbick, James bonecrusher Smith, and Tony Tucker. All three belts have been declared vacant for the courtesy of this fight, And Here Comes ALI! Wow, is that Joe Frazier and George Foreman behind him? Yes, it is. I can't believe it, who thought that it could begin like this. No one, thats for sure. Again, Muhammad Ali, considered by many boxing fans as the greatest fighter, walks somewhat extravagantly, poised with determination and courage. He looks very determined today Jim. Doesn't he always? Yeah, Hahha i guess you can say that. He so much heart. There's Angelo Dundee wearing the button shirt, and Drew Brown with the long sleeves, both by Muhammads side. Foreman and Frazier, looking very dressed up this evening, having a little discusion with Ali, not sure what they're saying. Look at Mike Tyson, just starring at Ali from across the ring. What a glazed serious look he has. That ring is packed with security across the middle. Ali stepping on the stairs now and on to the canvas, begins to box dancing on the corner of the ring and heres the tale of the tape. 33 year old Muhammad Ali is 215 pounds and 6 foot 3 inches tall, and has a very worthy reach of 83 inches. Muhammad Ali with 46 victories. Heres some of the highlights, winning Joe Frazier twice after losing to him back in 1971. Knocked out George Foreman to regain his title. TKO'd Archie Moore and defeated Floyd Patterson twice by KO. Beat Sonny Liston twice, second one was by one round knockout. After winning Frazier the second time, his title became vacant due to the courtesy of this fight. Rules of the bout today givin by Harold Letterman. Alright Jim, there are no 3 knock down rule. Only the referee can stop the fight. And if a fighter has been knocked down, he cannot be saved by the bell, including the 12th and final round, Jim... Thank you for that Harold and now lets wait for the introductions hosted by Michael Buffer to announce the start of the bout. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to, the MGM grand hotel and casino in Las Vegas Nevada where tonight, a scheduled 12 round bout will determine the Greatest Heavyweight Champion of the World. Brought to you by associations of Don King productions, WBC and IBF sponsors, Budweiser, UNLV ticket complementation, World Boxing Association, and HBO pay per view sports. Judges for the bout today are Frank Cappuccino, Mills Lane, and Carlos Padilla. And the person in charge of the fight this evening, ladies and gentlemen please give a warm welcome to referee Rocky Marciano!" (cheering) Pretty loud in here now huh Emannuel. I can tell Rocky had made a lot more fans than both of them here tonight. "Let us all rise for the national anthem presented by former American Idol, Ladies and Gentlemen, Miss Kelly Clarkson" Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight' O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming. And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!!! And now.... For the thousands in the Arena... And the Billions watching... Ladies and Gentlemen... LETS GET READY TO RRRRRRRUUUMBBBLE !!!!!!!!!! "Introducing first to my right, wearing the solid black trunks, official record, 36 undefeated victories including 32 knock outs, no draws no defeats. He is the three time Heavyweight Champion of the world, IRON MIKE, TYYYYYYYYYYSOOOOONNN !" "And in the blue corner, wearing the white trunks with black trim, official record, 46 victories including 33 knock outs and only 2 defeats. He is the 2 time Heavy Weight Champion of the world, the Greatest, Muhammaaaaaaaaaaaaaad ALIIIIIII !" Here they come both at the center of the ring with referee Marciano. "Alright guys, I want a good, I repeat, a good clean fight" "you know you not the greatest" "I ask to protect yourselves at all times" "you cant out box me, I can take you on all night long" "yeah, yeah, will see if you can back your words up" "I tell you, I'm the champ around here" "They'll be no head butting, no thumbing.." "you know you not that champ yet until..." "Muhammad, please be quiet, im trying to give you the rules here" "until you fight me ya big sissy" "oh im so scared" "you better be" "I'll eat your children" "Say that again" "Okay, the both of you! Listen up or I'll disqualify the next person that speaks up. Okay, in the event of a knock down, i want the fighter standing up to go to the farthiest corner of the ring." "Come on Mike, Say that again" "or what? huh, whatcha gonna do" "Alright, now touch gloves and come out boxing." wow yup, you can say that again, Jim. hahaa that was quite amusing and entertaning yup i donno when the last time i seen fighters talk among each other. probally from the Ali, Frazier Fight. Yeah Here we are ready and waiting for the sound of the bell for round 1. hmmm crowd cheering Ali turns around and puts his hands down DING ! Here we go! Round 1 Ali throws the first punch with a combination. Mike Tyson weary, not really wanting to go explode yet. Oh, what a shot by Tyson and Ali gets a shot at Mikes chest. This is very rare, you seldom see Ali aim for the body. More then seldom, you never see Ali aim for the body oh a solid uppercut slightly landed by Tyson. Ali not quite having his rhythm just yet. Hes doing good job jabing though, well not as good as when he dances, obviously hes not dancing just yet. A litte jab by Ali flinches Tysons head back. "Alright, break it up! Let go, let go, stop. I said break. Okay now box" referee Marciano having a bit of struggle there breaking the two champions Look at Tyson just going after the body, giving those fast little hooks. You know Larry, Tyson does have fast hands, when comes to the body. Right, Tyson's short hands have an advantage of speed depending on... OH what a shot by Tyson with a left uppercut. That gotta hurt Ali. "Break!" Not really, Ali didn't get all the angles on that left heres Ali with a payback of solid jabs left and right Tyson cant seem to get that right uppercut with a left hook follow, crowd cheering now as Ali throws Ali speed to me is more faster than Tyson at this point. OH MY GOSH! what a devasting left hookAND HE's DOWN. Down goes ALI! CROWD yelling and screaming I CANT really HEar MARCIANOS COUNT! "three, four, five, six...." Is gonna make it? "eight.." He's up, He's UP! What a shot, oh o, here comes TYSON again, gonna finish the job! Ali still jabbing at him, it looks as though... OH MAN! OH GEEZ! Another oh man ALI is Down AGAIN! "one, two, three! Four ! FIVE!" Thats was an uppercut this time "seven, eight, are you okay ?" Here's Tyson comin over and DING! "HO! !OOKAY STOP" Here we go as we take the camera to Ali's corner What dyou think of the first round Emannuel Well like i said, Ali didn't seem to be stunned there what do you mean, he was floored two times already yeah but Well it is only the first round i mean Jim, Jim, come on, look Ali didnt get stunned when he went down well, see he got floored but when he came back up he was filled with energy yeah but see but most Tyson opponents seem to have givin up at that point but not Ali No, NO, Not Ali, look he's still has the heart and determination, even more so after that round prescisly "Okay, champ. Now what happened, there? You got knocked down. SO what? That doesn't mean squat, you can go get him up with a couple hard striaight rights on the head, okay, ON the HEAD. where's the towel, give him some water" so you mean to say he just lost balance on the knocked downs yeah, well it seems what about the second one, how can you judge that, i mean that was a clean right uppercut that doesn't really tell a fighter has lost mentally, you only see it outside but inside, i know ALi has the heart to out box Tyson "Alright, you get out there and this time aim for his face, don't let him get you like he did that time, okay? Go get em champ go." <BR> DING ! Well, we've just saw Muhammad ALi go down twice the first round now we're in the 7th. Ali seems to be not as physical on this fight no not at all, in fact he seems to be blockin and countering more with that one two punch and here comes Tyson again devastating with that left hook slightly blocked in the head Again, Ali has been down before this fight, by Joe Frazier, but he only lost to a descion right, i guess because it was during the end of the fight at the 12th but here you see ALi, Unbelievably surviving the travails of the 1st round oh what shot by Ali giving Tyson a piece of his own medicine man if he keeps this up it will be the comeback of a lifetime yep DING ! I had to give that round to ALI Yes, for the first time i think the judges will score that round for ALI Well, Harold, by the looks of this, after losing all 6 rounds, how did you score it Okay, Jim, 6 rounds to 1, 69, 61, Mike Tyson, Jim I gotta tell you something, from the first 6 rounds Tyson was dominating Ali and what seemed like Ali's worst torcher since the broken jaw of the Ken Norton fight and Frazier knock down, Ali finally came back with a vengance at that 7th. Oh man, who would ever thought a fighter would come back after that brutal first round. Still has a long way to go jim. 69, 61, Mike Tyson. DING ! Okay heres round 8, you saw Harold Letterman's scorecards and it seems that Muhammad Ali needs 8 more rounds to tie the score and its obvious that Ali needs a knock down to win this fight because the fight is up to 12 rounds not 16. Jim, I gotta point out something. Everytime ALi does that rope-a-dope thing like he did at the first few rounds, he loses the score cards, now we are in the 8th round and its obvious that he no longer needs the judges to decide who wins the fight because he is still doing the rope-a-dope a little bit here in this round. I'm glad you mentioned that Larry, he is losing the rounds because he is giving Tyson opportunity to score heavly on the face and body. what dyou think Emannuel? Well, Tyson is doing more jabs this round than every other round i seen so far, it may be due to the fact that Tyson is alittle bit tired of throwing those hard heavy punches Nice right hook by Ali as he begins to dance for the first time in this round. DING ! "Alright champ, 4 more rounds to go, 9, 10, 11, 12. Do we have to go to tweleve? no. we stop him at his tracks. Go for the double left jab on him and.." Here we go to Tyson's corner where it seems that Tyson has a little puffyness on his right eye. "Okay Mike, I wanna see those body shots in an angle okay? Your doing well on the jabs but keep inside, I don't want you fighting him outside, go closer okay? Listen, Ali's tired he aint do shiet to you alright. deep breath" DING! Here's round 9, and Ali is dancing right now. You heard trainer Kevin Rooney say that Ali is tired. Is that why his dancing? what dyou think Larry? No, I think Ali has just begun hahahaha you right Larry he looks as though he has taken conrol of the fight so far yes he has, and it seems, that if he keeps his cool, he may be able to OHHH WOW right HAND by Tyson, ALI staggering! He's alright It looks as though there is a cut on Ali's left eye, there is And its bleeding bad, real bad Now Tyson, looking more encourage now backs up Ali and try to get that eye "ALRIGHT TIME!" referree Marciano calls time due to Ali's severe bleeding crowd boooing at this point, doctor comin to check the wound "yeah, yeah, just on the left. Okay he's fine" "Alright, time in!" oh man, this is bad, that cut on Ali is bothering him yep what a cut, looks as though Ali is getting a bit tired again I guess Kevin Rooney was right naw, with the look at Ali's face i think he still can go on throughout this whole fight DING! Angelo Dundee coming to look at the cut, using vaseline trying to coagulate the bleeding. "your okay, that's nothing, that's nothing. Give em some water, okay champ, look now, I want you to go around his left, dont lean back anymore, I want you go forward, this is the 10th round, I want you to back this guy up, this the championship rounds okay son. alright more vaseline." DING! Here's the bell for 10th and that cut is so bad but it seems to have stop bleeding. Like I said Jim, don't judge a book by its cover, you cant tell how the story is gonna end by looking at the front part of the book. your right, look at Ali giving those one two combinations on the head Tyson looking awfly hesistant as hes gives Ali two hooks across his head He's bleeding again, that cut some open at one point, OH MAN! OH WHAT A SHOT BY ALI, and Tyson is momentarly stunned there, dyou see that Emannuel? Yup, I told you, dont judge a book, look this, ALi just givin it to em. he's still dancing, but now hes dancing closer yea hahaha that doesn't sound right haha look at Ali with that nice uppercut, its one of the few uppercuts we seen in this fight DING! And Tyson looks tired. Yup, i think Ali won that also definetly Even though doesnt really matter, hes far from close on the score cards Don't worry I dont think the Judges would have to judge this fight at the end predicts ay Larry? yup, I think Ali's readdy DING ! 11th! we are at 11th round wow, ALi with 1, 2 ,3, 4 hit combination, all landing, all solid, its just popping Tyson's head back. oh man, i can't believe after the 2 knock downs at the first and 6 brutal rounds, Ali starts doing this to Tyson yup, what a fight very good fight indeed Tyson misses with that vicicous right uppercut that he used to knock out Ali the last time Ali hammering away left right, left right, he can't miss That left and right eye of Tyson is really begginning to puff up exactly, now we can hardly tell if hes look left or right anymore DING! AND the crowd goes wild after the 11th Oh my heart is pumping you guys mine too, this crazy, this turining out to be a very good fight now we go to Tyson's corner where coach Kevin Rooney trys to heel that puffy eye "Okay Mike, MIKE, Listen to me, Mike, Okay son, Last round, okay, LAST ROUND, I want you to beat him down with the left hook from hell that Frazier did to him okay. MIke look at me, he's going down okay, just breath, take a deep breath. Relax okay relax, deep breath" He looks exhausted there. what a fight. How often do you see a guy that has been knocked down twice, losing mostly every round give Mike Tyson such a hard time at this point. Never yup, And Tyson is undefeated, and has never, I repeat, Never been floored or even close to a point to get knocked down. CROWD RISES Michael buffer "LAdies and GentlemEN, we are at, the 12th and FINAL ROUND!" Crown cheering loudly than ever before this fight DING!!! and heres ROUND 12 Wow, what a shot by Ali that backs Tyson up all the way to the ropes. Ali is still bleeding hard on that eye, he is half blind at this point Tyson again with that left hook he's been looking for and missing OH MY GOODNESS!!! What a flurry of COMbinations! And TYSON IS STAGGERRING AGAIN! Tyson landing a hard right uppercut on the side and Ali just keeps Hammering boom! WOW!!! WHAT HAPPPENED?!! I CANT HEAR YOU!! WOOOO! HE"S DOWN! It cANT BE! OH DAMM, TYSON IS DOWN, for the first time of his whole career? Was it a left? We just GOTTA SEE IT on replay! "SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE!" He's UP! hE"s UP! HE"S UP! Go get him ALI, GO GET HIM, GET HIM Oh my, your really rooting for him, huh Jim Ali Looking to finisht the Job TYson just can't hit him anymore, he KEEPS missing! AND wow Ali keeps popping him back and forth, left and right, over and over. Tyson moving around more You know Jim I don't think Tyson got really hurt at that knock down either, well to my view I donno but Tyson is now landing that left hook he just missed a right hook there Ali's punches land like lasers, with pin point accuracy every round 50 seconds left on the clock OH MY GRACIOUS OH WOW!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! WOOWW! ! ! ! ! WHWHKAHTKJHGHGG:QLKGH!! I CAN"T HEAR YOU! HE"S DOWN AGAIN! he is DOWN! ! "SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE" He's up AGAIN, AND AGAIN ALI just keeps shoting those straight punches OH I cant bear see this anymore Look Tyson just taking and taking shot after shot and Tyson just doesn't quit He's not punching anymore, now he's just blockin Ali's shots OH man, OH heavens no, I can't believe this, LOOK LOOK LOOK HOLY CRIMINY CHRISTMASS LOOK AT THIS!!! IT"S TYSONS CORNER!!!! OH MAN!!! THERE COMING!!!! THE CROWND IS GOING NUTS!!! THEY"RE STOPPING THE FIGHT!!! THEY"RE STOPPING THE FIGHT TYSONS CORNER IS ON THE RING!!!! AND THERE GOES MARCIANO WAVING HIS HAND IN THE AIR AS COACH KEVIN ROONEY STOPS THE FIGHT!!! IT ENDS AT A TKO! good call! yeah, you can say that again, i mean that was the most brutal 12th round i ever seen a fighter take d good call! yeah, you can say that again, i mean that was the most brutal 12th round i ever seen a fighter take did you see that, man that was absolutly amazing, Muhammad Ali Landing almost EVERy single SHOT, man! IM OUT OF BREATH me too I THIRD IT everyone is amazed at this performance, and he we see Muahammad ALik Lying on the canvas with his gloves to his face, Drew brown trying to get him up, and Larry Merchant is going on the ring to interview him "Ladies and Gentlemen, Our new and GREATEST FIghter of all heavyweight championship, winner by TKO, MUHAMMMMAAAAAAAAAADD AAAAAAAAAAALLLLIIIII! ! ! ! ! ! ! "Wow, I'm out of gas, im sure you are tell us how..." "IM KING OF THE WORLD!!! I AM THE GREATEST!" "YOU GUYS THOUGHT I LOST, ever since the 1st round you think im gonna go and feel sorry for myself. NOWAY! I am the Greatest, those punches he throws has so much power and yet lacks the spirit that I have when I throw my punches. I just proved you all today, that even if you lost twice, even if you slightly underdog, even if Mr. Mike Tyson destroyed many of his oppponents in round 1, that I can still get up from that round 1, and knock him down in round 12, now tell yourselves, i wont go down that easily, cuz i smoke like butterfly and sting like a queeeen bee!" "WOw, you have a lot to say Muhammad" "I AM THE GREATEST!" "Muhammad, Muhammad, dyou think there'll be a rematch" "Anytime, Anywhere, ANYBODY, IM KING OF THE WORLD< I AM THE GREASTEST !!" "THANK YOU FOR THAT MUHAMMAD" "okay, Mike, Tells us how you feel" "Oh, he got me with some good shots at the end, namsayin', ebe time i comes he goes, waling back and forth, i would have got at the 1st if it hadn't been for Rocky slow count, Id be on my limo cruisin by now, ya know im sayin, thats just ludacris, you can't possilbe believe that its fair to come back like this naw, man, he just lucky, lucky shots, lucky everything, he aint no champ. hez a chump to me, I would have im on round 12 too." "Do you think, if ever there is a rematch, would you beat him?" "of course, Not only I will beat him, I would, destroy him from ever boxing again" "THANK YOU" "and thank you all the people that witnessed this show. There comes a time, when champions and other champions, know that no matter how tough a situation is, you gotta see it to believe it, and we saw it, all in the MGM grand and in your living room or TV.
